Rawalpindi: Students of Beaconhouse Primary Branch, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi enjoyed their ‘Virtual Puppet Shows’ on August 28th,2020 at Beaconhouse Schooling Uninterrupted. All the levels participated in this activity showcasing their love for theatre. The purpose of this speaking activity was to allow students to demonstrate their creative thoughts in front of the audience and gain the confidence to give voice to their narratives. This activity developed students’ language and communication skills.

Puppeteers of class I talked about their favourite character from a movie, book or story. They threw light upon its role and superpowers. On the other hand, students of class II chose their favourite profession and elaborates its roles and responsibilities. Puppeteers of class III and IV took their audience to an expeditious journey of brave Disney characters and demonstrated their heartfelt narratives as depicted in their stories. Moreover, puppeteers of class V used puppetry to retell the forgotten history and Muslim contribution in science. Additionally, they used their creativity to participate in Urdu storytelling and poetry activity. This activity encouraged students to engage in imaginative role-plays and provided them with a creative platform.
