Karachi:Students of Middle and Secondary School virtually celebrated the 73rd Independence Day of Pakistan to rejoice the feeling of living in a free Independent State with renewed zeal and fervour. A short virtual morning assembly was arranged on the 21st August, 2020, which included the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran, virtual flag hoisting ceremony, National Anthem and Pledges of students on Independence day. It ended with the greetings of Headmistress Mrs Ghazala Zubair to the students on Independence Day and she prayed for the safety and prosperity of our beloved country Pakistan. Students were dressed in green and white clothes as they were full of patriotic spirits and shared their pictures as well.

Moreover, students of Middle and Secondary School participated enthusiastically in an online quiz competition to get to know more about Pakistan. A few students also sang the melodious song “Ye Watan” collaboratively after having live practice sessions. Furthermore, students of the secondary school took an initiative to contribute a little by planting trees to save our mother Earth on this Independence Day.
