Multan: A mega event was held in collaboration with all Beaconhouse Multan branches on December 9, 2018. All the branches stood in unison to welcome eminent guests from the Head Office. Honorary guest, Dr Lawrence Burke, the chief education advisor for Beaconhouse School System, attended the festival. Other chief guests included Regional Director Centre Mr Ali Ahmad Khan, Director Education Operations Ms Fareeha Ahmad and Director School Evaluation Unit Mr Stephen Crowley. The star-studded guest list did not end there. Vice Chancellor of Nishtar Medical College and Hospital Dr Mustafa Kamal Pasha, Vice Chancellor of Agriculture University Dr M Atif Rao and Chairperson SOS Village Ms Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh also graced the occasion.

Ms Uswa Khan, a school alumnus, moderated an interactive panel discussion titled Education: A Passport to the Future. Panelists included Mr Crowley, Ms Sheikh, Dr Pasha, school alumnus Mr Bilal Tariq and current O Level student Ms Rabia Malik. In addition, the festival hosted a number of attractions such as an exhibition of Multan’s famous blue pottery, khussa making corner, camel bone carving stall, an IB pavilion, latest technology exhibits, grassy play area for children and food stalls that were haven for foodies.

The event came to an end with a dazzling concert by a renowned pop artist, Mr Farhan Saeed. The audience swayed with joy and exhilaration as they sang along. The whole event was remarkably organised.
