Sadiqabad: Beaconhouse Sadiqabad Campus organised a Drama Day on March 8. It started with Class I-Yellow students welcoming the guests with a song and a dance. The first play of the evening was Crocodile! Crocodile! Here Comes the Crocodile, scripted from one of the curriculum readers. Class IV and V students attracted the audience's attention with their spirited performance.

The highlight of the evening was the play The Snow Queen. The tale was first published in 1844 and focuses on the struggle between good and evil as experienced by a little boy and girl, Kai and Gerda. Beautiful costumes, lively dances and powerful dialogues made this play stand apart.

Class VI and VII students performed the Urdu Play Abu Qasim Kai Jootay (Abu Kasim's Shoes) which was scripted from a reader by Class VIII student Sadaf Abbas. The story was about a miser, Abu Qasim, who has everything except the heart to spend his money.

The evening ended with Class I-Blue singing a goodbye song and a speech delivered by Chief Guest Mrs Anjum Kaiwan, Headmistress Rahimyar Khan Campus.
