Peshawar: An inter-school Baitbazi Competition was held at Jamrud Campus on February 26th in which Khyber Campus and Peshawar Cantt Campus also participated.

The competition comprised three rounds, with the first round featuring recitation of Urdu poetry and the second round challenging the participants to complete incomplete verses given by their opponents. The final round was based on the traditional baitbazi format, where competitors were required to recite couplets starting with the last letter of the couplet recited by their opponents. At the end, the results were announced and Khyber Campus won the competition, while Jamrud Campus came second.

The aim of the competition was to introduce the students to the richness of their national language. The contestants exhibited a deep understanding and knowledge of Urdu poetry, which reflected their love for their mother tongue.
