Lahore: Johar Town Campus hosted the four-day Intra-regional Cricket Tournament for the O Level students in the Central Region. A total of 16 teams participated in the event, including the teams from Beaconhouse-Newlands, Garden Town Campus (GTC), Gujranwala Campus, Sialkot Campus, Shiekhupura Campus, Faisalabad Campus, Multan Campus and Okara Campus.

The final match was played between Johar Town Campus (JTC) and Sialkot Campus at Bagh-e-Jinnah. After a tough competition, Sialkot Campus won the match with eight wickets in hand. The winning team was handed certificates and a trophy by the Chief Guest Mr Mansha-ullah Butt, Minister of Food and Environment. Former cricketer, Mr Majid Khan was also among the special guests.

Adnan Mughal from JTC was declared the Man of the Tournament and Humza Ahmad from Sialkot received the title of Best Bowler of the Tournament. Muaz Asim from GTC was declared the Best Batsman of the Tournament and Osama Mahar was the Best Fielder. Johar Town and Garden Town campuses were 2nd and 3rd runners-up, respectively.

The tournament was attended by a large number of students, families and staff members. It provided the students, staff and their families with great entertainment.
