Peshawar: On December 5, 2017, the students of grades 8-11, went on a memorable trip to Taxila and Khanpur Lake organised by KPK Tourism Association. The coaches were each accompanied by two teachers and an official from the tourism department. After an eventful three-hour bus ride, the students finally reached their destination. The first stop was the Taxila Museum which has preserved remnants of the Buddhist era. After a group photograph, they began the second part of the journey to Khanpur Lake. The students took boat rides across the lake, followed by a picnic on the lake shore. Students enjoyed rides in the makeshift 'amusement park' while the teachers enjoyed some tea. All too soon it was time to leave, but with memories that will last a lifetime!
