Elocution Competition News Story

Karachi: An elocution contest was held for Classes III and V at Beaconhouse P.E.C.H.S Primary III on December 8, 2016. The participants read different poems and were assessed on clarity, expression, pronunciation and fluency. The parents, along with the judges and guests, were very happy with the students’ performances. This event provided the students with an opportunity to read confidently in front of an audience. As the Mandarin language is also being taught to Classes III and IV this year, the school choir sang a famous Chinese song which was enjoyed by all.

The competition winners from Class III were Shahmeer Noman from Class III-D in first place for English elocution and Hamiz Ali from Class III-A and M. Bilal from Class III-B in first place for Urdu elocution.

From Class V, the winners were Mustafa Imran from Class V-E and Eeshal Javed from Class V-G in first place for the English elocution. Dua Sohail from Class V-B and Zaid Motiyar from Class V-E got first place for the Urdu elocution.
